Fresh For Kids

The Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program is a grant designed to provide students with a healthy snack option.  All students in participating schools are offered a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables three times a week.  Currently, the grant only operates in elementary schools. The philosophy is to target children as early as possible to make an impact on their eating habits.

Twenty-one Hillsborough Co. schools have been awarded the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP) grant for the 2011-12 school year.
