High School Art education is made up of more than paint, markers, and clay. Based on the Florida Standards, certified art teachers implement a balanced and sequential curriculum considering the developmental, social, and psychological needs of students. Engaged students investigate a wide range of media and techniques from both an historical and contemporary perspective. Art-making processes and reflection strategies are provided to achieve artistic goals related to the application of the 21st-century skills; Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical Thinking.
