Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS)
The Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services administers programs for students with disabilities. Additionally, the bureau coordinates student services throughout the state and participates in multiple inter-agency efforts designed to strengthen the quality and variety of services available to students with special needs.
Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS – Hillsborough)
Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System provides diagnostic and instructional support services to district exceptional student education programs statewide.
Florida Inclusion Network (FIN)
The purpose of the Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) is to maintain a network of regional facilitators, consultants, and practitioners to assist schools and school districts in the implementation of effective and inclusive educational practices and to disseminate information to schools and school districts throughout the state.
Florida Instructional Materials Center for the Visually Impaired (FIMC-VI)
The Florida Instructional Materials Center for the Visually Impaired (FIMC-VI) is a statewide resource center designed to assist schools in obtaining specialized materials for students with visual impairments.
The Multiagency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET)
The Multiagency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET) creates and facilitates a network of key stakeholders committed to assisting in the provision of a quality system of care for students with or at-risk of emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
