Audition Information

Students applying for the Performing Arts (Band, Chorus, Orchestra, Piano, Harp, Guitar, Drama, or Musical Theatre) program will perform an audition. Students who apply for the Visual or Communication Arts (TV/Film, Creative Writing, Journalism, Technical Theatre, Art or Costume Design) program will present a portfolio. A short interview will also be part of the audition/portfolio presentation.

• Before auditioning, students must first apply to Magnet programs beginning April 23, 2012. Part of the application is to choose an audition time and area of interest. Submit application and print your confirmation notice. An audition is required for any student who wishes to be considered for membership in the magnet program at Blake.

Blake will host auditions May 14, 2012 with auditions starting at 2:30 and doors opening at 2pm. Please fill out the audition information form. (Click here)
