

Free VPK Program coming to HCPS this summer
Do you know a child that will be starting kindergarten this August? If so, please share the news!
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) is giving children a jump start into kindergarten. The school district will be offering the FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program this summer. The program will run Monday through Thursday, June 15 - July 28, from 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, remaining flexible for families.
To be eligible, the child must have been born between September 2, 2010 and September 1, 2011 and not have previously participated in a school year VPK program.
Summer 2016 locations include the following elementary schools: Alexander, Bailey, Bellamy, Bing, Boyette Springs, Chiles, Cypress Creek, B. C. Graham, Just, Mitchell, Muller, Potter, Schmidt, Sessums, Shaw, Sheehy, and Sulphur Springs.
