4111 - Designation of a New Position

The School Board recognizes the need to establish positions which, when filled by competent, qualified support staff members, will assist the District in achieving the operational goals set by the Board. The District employs only U.S. citizens and others lawfully authorized to work in the United States.

Subject to the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board shall create new positions pursuant to the job description developed in accordance with Policy 4600 and set the initial salary for a new position not currently covered by a valid negotiated, collectively-bargained agreement.
