Review of Policy

   
 

The School Board shall direct staff to review its policies and procedures at least once every two years and to recommend appropriate additions, deletions, and changes. It is the policy of the Board to facilitate academic standards, budget priorities, and budget mandates, to provide safe and secure facilities, and to create an organizational framework and environment to achieve the District's vision.

Review of Policy - Ethics

   
 

It is the policy of the Board to review, at least once every two years, its policies and procedures that set forth the following:

   
 

A.

Standards for screening, hiring, and terminating instructional personnel and school administrators as defined in F.S. 1012.01

     
 

B.

Standards of ethical conduct for instruction personnel and school administrators, and the duty of instructional personnel and school administrators to uphold the standards

     
 

C.

Detailed procedures for reporting alleged misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student; reassigning instructional personnel or school administrators pending the outcome of a misconduct investigation; and promptly reporting each legally sufficient complaint to the Florida Department of Education
