In accordance with the federal No Child Left Behind education law, school districts receive an adequate yearly progress designation based on student FCAT results. Student results at both Title I and Non-Title I schools are compiled to determine this designation. Because the school district has not made adequate yearly progress over the past four years, the state requires us to notify all parents. The letters have been translated in Spanish and Haitian Creole to accommodate parents of other languages, and the superintendent has signed them.
