ACADEMY FOR SUCCESS -- Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) Academy for Success began in 2006 with the purpose of providing tutoring to more students in small group instructional settings with certified teachers

AFTER/BEFORE SCHOOL PROGRAMS-H.O.S.T -- The goal of H.O.S.T. is to provide the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth and development which children need in order for them to be successful. After school programs are affordable programs that are held during before and after school at 82 elementary schools and 26 middle schools. Both programs offer supervision and a variety of enrichment activities for children, kindergarten through 8th grade and a daily snack is provided. Each program plans daily activities such as homework assistance, academic enrichment, art, crafts, and games, outside games and fields trips.
APSI - ADVANCED PLACEMENT SUMMER INSTITUTE -- The College Board Florida Partnership and the Southern Regional Office in conjunction with the AP® Summer Institute Directors, welcome you to one of the most enriching workshop opportunities of your professional career.

EMPOWERING EFFECTIVE TEACHERS (EET) / GATES FOUNDATION GRANT -- The school district was chosen as one of only 10 finalists in the nation for a critically important partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. After researching more than 15,000 school districts in America and interviewing 20 exemplary districts, the Gates Foundation selected Hillsborough County Public Schools to submit a proposal for a multi-year, substantial partnership to raise the pay of our district’s teachers and other instructional staff.
