Supervise your child to and from the bus stop
and while waiting at the stop for the school bus.

Ensure that
your child arrives at the bus stop at least five minutes
prior to the scheduled pick-up time.

Be responsible for the proper
conduct of your child on the way to and from the bus stop
and while at the bus stop.

Ensure that your child follows the
rules and behaves appropriately while on the school bus.

Cooperate
with school personnel regarding the effective and safe
transportation of your child.

Refrain from boarding a school
bus without prior permission from a Transportation supervisor.

Refrain
from trying to speak with a school bus driver while the
driver is transporting children on a daily run.

Schedule meetings
with school bus drivers through their supervisors who are
located at each area office.
DON'TS:
- Attempt to conduct a conference while the driver is driving
the school bus or picking up students at a bus stop.
- Attempt to stop or slow a moving bus or prevent a school bus
from proceeding on its designated route. This is against
the law.
- Attempt to board a school bus without prior permission from
a Transportation supervisor. This is against the law.
