The Office of Strategy Management oversees all strategy-related activities within the District with the goal of creating a Strategy-Focused Organization.
The Mission of the Office of Strategy Management is to integrate, evaluate and align resources and systems in order to empower stakeholders in achieving the goals of the District’s Strategic Plan.

This Office is responsible for establishing all Strategy Management Processes and is the focal point for coordinating these tasks:
Formulate Strategy – work with Superintendent’s Cabinet, Area Superintendents, and Divisions to develop clear objectives, measures, targets, and strategies
Align the Organization – connect and align all schools, divisions, and community partners to the District’s Strategic Priorities
Establish & Manage Strategy Scorecards – establish a system of Balanced Scorecards, and manage strategic plan reporting
Monitor & Review Strategic Plan Progress – provide quarterly board key performance indicator updates, periodic reviews with Superintendent’s Cabinet, and annual compilation of strategic plan results
Communicate Strategy – develop, update, and maintain the 5-Year Strategic Plan, publish key Strategic Plan documents on the HCPS Website, and communicate strategy highlights throughout the district and to the community
Evaluate Initiatives – determine effectiveness and provide recommendations to improve district and school-based programs and initiatives
Support Data Integrity – collaborate with Information Technology, review and streamline data files and reports to ensure accurate user friendly data are available for stakeholder use
