Education, Prevention, and Intervention Centers
What is EPIC?
The Education, Prevention, and Intervention Centers (EPIC) program in Hillsborough County seeks to positively impact young lives by altering their attitudes and successfully transitioning them back to a traditional school environment. This program supports the district in their efforts to prepare students for life.
EPIC is an interconnected system of services that assist students struggling with behavior and socialemotional wellness with wrap-around services within one interconnected system.
EPIC Interconnected Systems Framework
The Education, Prevention, and Intervention Centers (EPIC) provide a positive, proactive, and instructional approach for supporting students struggling with behavior and social-emotional wellness, leveraging traditional school based MTSS_RtI practices and wrap-around serviced within one interconnected system.
