The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is excited to partner with Hillsborough County Public Schools to provide convenient and affordable parking for employees, students and their families to attend Bucs games.
The park n’ ride locations established for the pilot sports shuttle service, HART MVP Express, will transport from four sites, including three high schools. The buses will take passengers to five Bucs games this season for $10.00 per person, round trip.
"Operations Division staff worked with HART and each of the schools to establish the MVP shuttle pilot as a convenient service that also keeps the school properties safe and secure during the shuttle operation," stated Lorraine Duffy Suarez, General Manager of Growth Management & Planning.
This game-day connection delivers Bucs fans to the West Tampa Transfer Center on Himes Avenue, across the street from Raymond James Stadium. Fans will be picked up from the same location and shuttled back to their park-n- ride locations. Parking sites will open at 10a.m. with shuttle service starting at 10:30 a.m. Return transportation begins in the fourth quarter and will continue for two hours after the game.
The three schools taking part in HART MVP express are: Plant High School on S. Himes Avenue, King High School on N. 56th Street and Sligh Avenue and Alonso High School on Montague Street. Westshore Plaza is also a park-n-ride location.
The HART MVP Express will run for the following Buccaneer home games:
o 11/11 – vs. Washington Redskins
o 11/25 – vs. San Francisco 49ers
o 12/02 – vs. Carolina Panthers
o 12/09 – vs. New Orleans Saints
o 12/30 – vs. Atlanta Falcons
