Hillsborough Schools Announces Job Fair
June 17 from 10am – 2pm

Tampa, Fla. – (June 14, 2019) – Hillsborough County Public Schools announces the 2019 Hillsborough Schools Job Fair on Monday, June 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will take place at HCPS Instructional Services Center located at 2920 North 40th Street. Go to to learn more and to register for the event.

Candidates attending the 2019 Job Fair will have the opportunity to speak with Human Resources representatives and complete job applications. The goal of the event is to showcase the many employment opportunities available with Hillsborough Schools.

“Many people may not realize we have a multitude of non-classroom or support positions in addition to instructional positions” says Dr. Althea Walker, Department Manager for Recruitment and organizer of the event. Walker adds, “In addition to teachers, we have positions in clerical, food service, security, nursing, and more.”

A select list of employment opportunities includes:

  • Bus Drivers and Mechanics
  • Food Service
  • School Nurses
  • Security Officers
  • Teacher’s Aides
  • And, of course, TEACHERS
