Tampa, Fla. – (December 6, 2019) – Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking input for the name and mascot for our district’s new elementary school, set to open in August 2020.

The public is invited to offer recommendations for the name and mascot of the school, which will be located on Gate Dancer Road, west of U.S. Highway 301, in the Belmont subdivision. Our district is hosting a community meeting on Thursday, December 12, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Shields Middle School cafeteria (15732 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin).
