7550 - Joint Use of Facilities

The Board advocates the joint expenditure of District funds and municipal or county funds to provide those facilities from which the entire community, children and adults alike, may derive benefits.

In accordance with this policy, the Board shall, as either opportunity or need arises, and as it is entitled to do so by law, join with each or all of the governing bodies of municipalities comprising the District, the Board of County Commissioners, and/or other school districts or educational institutions in acquiring, improving, equipping, operating, or maintaining such joint-use facilities as:

  A. Parks


  B. Playgrounds


  C. Playing fields


  D. Libraries


  E. Gymnasiums
