Developing Academic Achievers

2851_image_2.jpg
Martinez Middle is the perfect place for students in the Lutz community who are motivated to succeed. Consistently rated an "A” school and a state recognized "5 Star School,” our strong academic culture averages 300 students each quarter with straight "A"s and more than 500 members in our NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) chapter. We were awarded the SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) school of the year for our commitment to student services and our mission of "Let's Be Better Humans." Our rigorous Scholar Quest courses challenge students, leading to high school credit in Spanish, Science, Culinary, advanced-level Math and more. Through Electives, our students sample exciting courses including our state recognized agriculture department and "Superior” music program—then pursue what best sparks their interests. Classmates connect through a variety of our competitive sports teams and participate in clubs, such as our STEM Club and Math League. Our Sixth Grade Structure helps students feel at home in their new learning environment. At Martinez Middle, we develop academic achievers.
